Peer review process

The evaluation of the submitted articles will only start if the manuscripts are per the publication standards described in the “Guidelines for Authors” section. If they are not adequate, they will be returned to the authors for adaptation to the norms.

Articles that comply with the guidelines for authors will be submitted to the assessment of scientific merit by two blind evaluators (peer review), who have no conflicts of interest with the authors, in addition to the editor.

At least two evaluators will review the manuscript for scientific merit. If there is a disagreement between them, the evaluation of a third evaluator will be requested. From the opinions and judgment of the Editorial Committee.

If the manuscript is recommended as “minor revisions” or “major revisions”, it will be returned to the author(s) for adaptation. If accepted, the article will be published according to the journal's editorial schedule.

The content and accuracy of citations are the sole responsibility of the authors. The submission of works implies the granting of copyright relating to the publication.
